Well crafted stonework has been the bones of fine gardens for generations. Athyrium Stone+Garden elevates the trade to create timeless works of art that will inspire the next.

Owner Christopher Randles began his apprenticeship in stonework and landscape construction shortly after completing a B.A. in Studio Art from Western Washington University in 2000.  A passion for ancient human crafts, science, and contemporary art led him from earning a degree in abstract ceramic sculpture to pursue a career in stonework, infusing a modern design aesthetic within it. Influenced by both eastern and western traditions as well as patterns in nature, Randles creates projects rich in context, beauty, and balance that integrates with many design styles.

Founded in 2018, Athyrium Stone+Garden aims to serve each of its clients by providing the finest in stone craftsmanship and project management. We offer in-house design services but also value our collaborative relationships with Landscape Designers and Landscape Architects. And, with our team of specialty subcontractors, we can help facilitate the implementation of any residential project, regardless of size.
